Sippican Choral Society is turning 60!
Come sing with us! New members are always welcome.
Join us for a year of memorable music and performances to celebrate six decades of bringing top-quality choral music to the Southcoast region. We will begin our celebration at our annual winter concert on Sunday, December 1, at 4:00 p.m., with a joy-filled program entitled "Songs of Peace and Hope," featuring selections from a variety of countries and cultures.
Rehearsals for this concert begin on Monday, September 9, at 7:00 p.m., at Wickenden Chapel, 86 Spring St., Marion. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., so please come early to register and pick up your music envelope. Are you unsure about being able to sing with us? Come anyway! Try us out for two weeks, then decide. Dues of $40.00 are due by the third rehearsal for all singers.
Our spring 2025 concert, "60's Songs for 60 Years," to be held on Sunday, May 4, will feature popular hits from the 1960's, including folk, rock, jazz, Broadway show tunes, and, of course, the Beatles. Details will be posted at a later date.
Sippican Choral Society is a non-audition community chorus that welcomes singers of all ages and abilities.
